• Health information (height, weight, age, activity level, dietary goals, medical conditions and allergies)
• Photographs of food you choose to submit for calorie estimation
• Payment information (handled entirely by Stripe; we never receive your card details)
• Content you create (recipes, meal plans, shopping lists)
• Device tokens, if you enable push notifications
• Communications with us (support requests, feedback)

3. Health Information

The medical conditions and allergies you record are treated as a special category of personal data. We collect them for one purpose: so that every recipe we generate excludes ingredients that are unsafe or unsuitable for you.

• We process this data on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you enter it
• It is sent to our AI provider as part of generating your recipes, as described in Section 5
• It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with data brokers
• You can remove it at any time from your profile, or delete your account entirely

4. Photographs

If you use the calorie scanning feature, the photograph you take is uploaded to our servers and forwarded to OpenAI, which analyses it and returns an estimate of the food and its nutritional content.

• Photographs are not stored on our servers after the analysis completes
• They are not used to train any AI model
• The feature is entirely optional; the app never accesses your camera or photo library without you choosing to use it

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Generate personalized meal plans and recipe recommendations
• Process transactions and send related information
• Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience

6. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. We use the following service providers, each of which receives only what it needs to do its job:

• OpenAI - receives your health profile and any food photographs you submit, in order to generate recipes and calorie estimates
• Stripe - handles subscription payments; card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers
• Instacart - receives the ingredient list for a shopping list you choose to send, so it can be matched to products
• Cloudflare - hosts our application and database
• Apple - delivers push notifications to your device, if you enable them

We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, to protect our rights and prevent fraud, or with your consent.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
